Given a completely blank canvass, with a design from Catherine O’Neill we commenced work, transforming a 3.6 hectare paddock into a formidable garden from around the world.
We incorporated an Australian Garden, a European Fall Forest, a European Dark Forest, a Japanese Garden, a Russian Birch Forest, an Estonian Garden also a 90 x 30 metre lake, an 80 metre long raised boardwalk, a waterfall, and over 1.3 km of steel edged pathway. Over two years planning and a year in the making, this project is continuing to evolve into a truly magical garden!
RFQ from the Shire of Towong was to help design, then create nine roadside stops, improving on existing locations, Along the Great River Road in North East Victorian and Southern NSW. They included Talgarno, Granya, Thologolong, Mount Alfred, Jim Newmans Lookout, Tintaldra, Corryong, Bringenbrong and Koetong. We constructed gardens, placed rocks – as roadside armour, poured concrete pads for furniture and sculptures and created pathways and gravel parking bays.

Myrtleford and Porepunkah Streetscaping:
Working alongside NECC we installed irrigation, gardens, trees and turf to both Porepunkah and Myrtleford, over three separate contracts. We also installed furniture, some concrete, stonework and granite boulders.
Myrtleford Cemetery Landscaping:
The project brief was to utilise and beautify a wet and virtually unuseable part of the Myrtleford Lawn Cemetery and to also renovate the existing niche wall. We incorporated a ‘dry creek bed’ to the wettest part of the site, planted and irrigated other areas, fabricated two steel and timber bridges over the creek, constructed raised sleeper gardens for the standard roses and constructed buckshot steel edged pathways. We semi-demolished the old niche wall, re-cladding it in honed bluestone and travertine.
The clients had bought an existing home and wanted an outdoor space for summer. This was another pool by Natural Swim Ponds Australia. We supplied and installed the beautiful tumbled edge Travertine stone paving, landscaping and fencing.
The clients had bought an existing home with a dilapidated veggie garden/orchard area. We took their ideas and transformed it into a very functional and aesthetically pleasing space.
We supplied and installed concrete bases, bluestone paving, quarried stone for statue mounting and lighting, all for the Alpine Shire to revamp their existing War memorials. The works were completed for the Anzac Centenary, 2015. Both projects were completed on time and within budget.
